Welcome returning and NEW families. We are excited to begin a new school year with students. There are many events already planned for September and October that will support our learning agenda.

If you are a bus student, you should've received a notice in your report card envelope that outlines your new pick up and drop off times.

Our school day will begin at 9:05 AM each day and end at 3:25 PM. This new start time will allow buses to ensure they arrive on time here at Quaker. This should also reduce the number of late arrivals for students who walk or are driven. Supervision for students will begin at 8:45 each morning.

This year, students arriving late will be asked to make that time up at recess or at the end of the day after the 5th late arrival. It is essential that students begin their day on time and ready for learning. Being late is disruptive and causes undue stress on children as they feel behind and uninformed.

At Quaker Road, we are pleased to offer outstanding education our students. Innovative programs that meet the needs of all our students are taught by our dedicated and professional staff who care about your child. Our school provides extra-curricular opportunities that encourage the development of excellence, integrity and respect.

Our Board is focused on literacy and numeracy achievement and creating an environment where we are working together on our goal of success for every student. We also value the community partnerships and parent involvement which are so crucial to a successful education for our students.

We welcome your input and questions.
